What is your story? Or in other words, what made you your awesome self you are today?
I was suffering in silence, feeling alone in a room full of people, feeling less than enough while living behind a mask of “ok” and “alright” to fix myself. I lost everything when my heart stopped on that operating table. Fortunately, for me, I was given a second chance to live out my purpose and I’m now on a mission to ensure others do the same.
What message do you promote?
As women, we are enough! I help them rediscover, redefine and reinvent their identity. Why do I say rediscover their identity? Its because sometimes as they go through life, they tend to lose who they are. You know, especially as women is that sometimes we give, we give to our children, we give to our husband, we give to the job we give to our parents and we're always giving, giving, giving, giving, giving until the point where we feel like that's all that we no longer exist.
In what capacity do you LEAD UP in your community?
I am that woman. I tirelessly work to give a voice and choice. My goal is to change the trajectory of those women suffering in silence by doing my part to prevent them from the series of events that led me to the operating table where I lost everything at that moment my heart stopped.
In business and/or in life, share a struggle you overcame that other women can relate to?
There’s a major problem with women acting as if… they don’t talk about it …. It doesn’t exist!
1) Women feel abandoned by friends, family, and God in a sea of people where no one helps when they need assistance. They do for others, but no one is there for them!
2) They’re always left feeling not good enough! Or less than worthy when comparing yourself to others
3) Every 80 seconds, approximately one woman dies from cardiovascular diseases or stroke. The sad thing is 80% of these deaths are created by stress! Which is preventable!! That’s 1 in every 4 females in the US age 40 to 65… dead! If not physically, from the neck up… dead at 40 buried at 75…. 80! If they’re lucky!!
“Stress often affects women differently than men because as women… we are often pressured more to 'have it all together,’ and we internalize our struggle… Women are pressured into believing that they have to have it all and must do it all alone, be wonder women! Struggling to meet societal expectations…
Perfect job! Perfect Partner! Perfect Mother! Perfect Daughter! Perfect Friend! All the while they pause…. Or dare I say stop chasing their dreams altogether.”
That’s a big problem. A Big… problem!
Because they lose their identity and begin to feel stuck. Not sure what to do about their toxic relationships, those feelings of emptiness, simply feeling less than, or not enough.
Because they don't feel wanted … and things of that nature … they tend to lose hope,
lose what I call one of the greatest superpowers that you could ever possess.
What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?
Watch the moment a woman using my system to discover her purpose has a breakthrough and ponders that just maybe there is a possibility she is enough and there is more available.
How do you SHOW UP?
I personally introduce them to themselves in what I call a Destiny Journey. This is a system that is process-oriented that guides them to discover who they are and who’s they are and duplicate the learnings to create a legacy.
If you could give one piece of advice for women who are entering the workforce or launching their own business what would that be?
Don’t be driven by the secondary gain of a job they don’t enjoy. Instead, while they are employed connect with a passionate idea or an MLM idea and put the established system to the task. Work it with passion and an active commitment to creating their own freedom.
