What is your story? Or in other words, what made you your awesome self you are today?
I've had many challenges in my earlier life that have contributed to me being who I am today. I've had to overcome sexual trauma at six years old, abandonment, alcohol, and drugs, and it was through finding a higher self of God. I am now able to be in awareness of not feeling numb in areas that a woman should not naturally feel. And it was during this journey that I discovered my tantric practices of intimacy and connection through multiple explorations and safe containers around exploring what it feels like to be close with someone again.
This has led me, earlier in my career to be able to help others find the connection to their true desires and to manifest living in the desired world also, for them to explore love for self and then love possibly with another human being. They take that intimacy within self into the world of leadership and to another level of how to do business on intimate vulnerability and way of getting to know someone deeply.
What message do you promote?
I would want to be able to promote and be known for being able to help others get to the core essence of their inner voice and inner deepest truth, where it is okay to desire to live in a place of vulnerability and not scarcity. To live a life of manifestation and bringing connection to all areas of your life that will allow others to deepen their connection within themself, deepen the connection with God, and in so doing, find their soul's purpose. As a public speaker, it is my honor to share experiential exercises to bring people in the deepest form of connection as the problem I'm trying to solve is for people to be able to disconnect within themself, and then disconnect it to the world around them.
In what capacity do you LEAD UP in your community?
I offer a show called Evenings with Rori, which is a daily call at 5:30 Pacific Time, 8:30 Eastern Standard Time. This has been my way of giving back and providing a place for people to connect, find a place of real authenticity so that there is a transfer or opening up their awareness to heal and to have fun.
In business and/or in life, share a struggle you overcame that other women can relate to?
The biggest struggle in my adult life was to hide behind alcohol and drugs or medications to avoid feeling abandoned, feeling misunderstood, or feeling, not accepted as a woman for not having a husband or child at this point in my life. So there was that struggle of always comparing and contrasting with others. I was able to overcome that struggle through prayer that opened up a world of possibilities of spirit, God, intuition.
What is the most rewarding aspect of what you do?
To be able to bring people to a place that they've never wanted to touch before and to have them trust me to be able to bring them to a place they never thought they would ever go. This is most rewarding because I get an opportunity to see God's work in the manifestation of someone's awareness and awakening.
How do you SHOW UP?
I show up being fully aware of who I am and the emotions that I bring, knowing that I'm not perfect. Knowing that I am real and I have no ego and I'm there to fully be in the presence of what is, and not trying to tell someone that I'm something I'm not. I never wear a mask when I am on stage, being one person, and being another when I'm off.
If you could give one piece of advice for women who are entering the workforce or launching their own business what would that be?
Get into the deepest form of clear space—a place where you can ground, a place that you can have clarity. I would then share a couple of tools on how to go into the deepest form of desire and ask them if they could do anything or be anyone, what would that look like? This is visualizing in real-time, what it looks like in detail in your mind, and imagining it. As they go through life, things will start unfolding if they keep continuously visualizing.
